MONROE, Mich., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB; PCX) today announced the appointment of Mac McCall as President of its Clayton Marcus upholstery unit. McCall will report to Rodney D. England, President of La-Z-Boy's Non-Branded Upholstery. The position was previously held by Vernon Bigsby, who left the company in October.

Before joining Clayton Marcus in May 2004 as Vice President of Sales, McCall spent 32 years at Broyhill Furniture Industries, serving in various positions, and was most recently Vice President of its Home Collection Stores. Commenting on the appointment, England said, "Mac is a seasoned veteran of the furniture industry with a strong track record. He has done an outstanding job at Clayton Marcus since he joined the company and he will excel in his new role of leadership."

McCall, 57, attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, lives in Bethlehem, North Carolina, and is married with three children and four grandchildren.
